ENGLISH NAME – INDIAN GOOSEBERRY

CHEMICAL PROPERTIES

It contains Gallic acid is which is basically TRIHYDROXYBENZOIC ACID which is a type of phenolic acid. It also contains alumina and calcium. Presence of ascorbic acid ( Vitamin C ) makes Indian gooseberry very useful in Ayurveda medicines.
